Job summary

Primark is seeking an experienced Technology Projects Lead to drive end-to-end delivery of complex technology and business change initiatives in a retail environment. You will develop detailed plans, coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party partners, and ensure projects meet scope, budget, and quality targets.

You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, track progress, and manage risks while communicating clearly to senior leadership and guiding

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex technology projects within retail, supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or distribution environments.
• Strong project management expertise with a track record of managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Experience with supply chain, warehouse management, logistics, ERP, or related enterprise technology platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management across business and technology teams.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and systems integrators in delivery-focused environments.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and ability to drive projects to completion.

What you;ll do

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology and business change projects, ensuring objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, delivery roadmaps, resource plans, and governance frameworks to support successful project execution.
• Partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, deliverables, and success measures.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring effective cost control and timely escalation of any variances.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, third-party suppliers, and systems integrators to ensure all project activities are aligned and delivered effectively.
• Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project updates and reporting to senior stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, strong governance, and a smooth transition into business-as-usual operations.

• Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors, implementation partners, and systems integrators in a delivery-focused environment.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced business.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to challenge where appropriate and drive projects through to successful completion.
