Job summary

Copello Global Ltd is recruiting for a role that oversees the full lifecycle of MRO Base Maintenance projects for the UK aviation sector. You will lead projects from initial contact to aircraft handover, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring alignment with schedules and contractual obligations.

The role requires proven project management experience in aircraft maintenance, strong knowledge of airworthiness regulations, MOE, MEL, SRM, and the ability to manage

• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule and budget with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full life cycle of MRO maintenance projects from start to end.
• Manage changes to maintenance projects with regard to deliverables and schedules, updating stakeholders on financial implications.
• Ensure resource demand is covered for the Base Maintenance Operation Manager.
• Maintain and adhere to the schedule of maintenance lifecycles per contractual agreements and update stakeholders on any changes.

Client Overview:

The client is the UK’s largest 3rd party MRO provider for commercial aircraft, which covers A320, A330, B737 & B787.

Role Overview:

To manage and report to internal and external stakeholders on the full lifecycle of MRO Base Maintenance projects, from first contact to aircraft handover.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full life cycle of MRO maintenance projects from start to end.
• Manage the change to maintenance projects with regard to deliverables and schedules. While updating and monitoring all stakeholders in relation to financial implications across materials and manpower.
• Manage and ensure resource demand is covered for the Base Maintenance Operation Manager.
• Manage and maintain the schedule of maintenance lifecycles adheres to contractual agreements, both internally and externally, while holding responsibility to update all stakeholders of any alternations to the schedule.

Candidate background:

• Previous experience project managing aircraft maintenance in a base maintenance setting.
• Have proven technical experience in aviation and able to demonstrate knowledge of airworthiness regulation, MOE, MEL and its use, SRM understanding and the limits of technical data and the impact of that.
