Career Opportunity: Project Manager

Main Duties for the Project Manager:
  1. Management of site staff, operatives, and sub-contractors.
  2. Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments, and Project Management plans.
  3. Understand tender allowances and monitor contract loss against agreed budgets.
  4. Prepare and monitor programmes of work.
  5. Foster good relations and reputation with clients.
  6. Manage design coordination.
  7. Assess and engage sub-contractors.
  8. Manage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion.
  9. Supervise, mentor, and assist in the career development of junior staff.
Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate will have experience with main contractor roles, preferably with flood defence/structures and highways/road schemes. You should be a team player with excellent communication and people skills, capable of managing change and delegating effectively.

Required qualifications include relevant industry qualifications (HND/HNC/BEng or equivalent), an up-to-date SMSTS qualification, and an appropriate CSCS card.
