Morson Edge in Oxford is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver complex engineering and infrastructure projects. You will lead projects from planning through delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, risk control, procurement oversight and effective communication across all project disciplines. A hybrid/ site-based approach in Oxford is expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Project Manager in construction, infrastructure, engineering, energy, nuclear, utilities or similar environments.
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, costs and financial performance.
  • Strong stakeholder management with contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience managing project risks, programmes, schedules and milestones.
  • Understanding of contract management and procurement processes.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of projects and work packages from initiation through to completion.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, resources, risks and stakeholder relationships.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers and technical specialists.
  • Monitor project performance and provide regular progress updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage project finances, including forecasting, expenditure and cost control against budgets.
  • Identify, assess and proactively manage project risks, issues and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and support procurement activities and manage supplier and contractor relationships.
  • Manage contracts and monitor supplier performance against requirements.
  • Support project governance, assurance reviews and reporting processes.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across all project disciplines.

Project Manager

Location: Oxford - Hybrid / Site-Based as Required

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the successful delivery of projects and work packages within a complex engineering and infrastructure environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning through to delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, infrastructure, engineering, energy, nuclear, utilities or a similar environment.
  • Demonstrable experience managing project budgets, costs and financial performance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience managing project risks, programmes, schedules and delivery milestones.
  • Good understanding of contract management and procurement processes.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
