Job Opportunity: Project Manager in Oxford

Expanded is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work on a project in Oxford, focusing on Reinforced concrete structures.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Contribute to safety targets and uphold zero tolerance for unsafe practices
• Support the delivery of the sub-project within budget, adhering to Quality Assurance standards, schedule, and safety parameters
• Collaborate with the planning team to develop detailed short-term work programmes
• Provide accurate reporting on progress against plans
• Implement innovative ideas from within the business and workforce
• Assist in programming daily resource requirements and communicate with the construction team
• Interface with construction managers to share best practices and optimize resource utilization
• Monitor external changes affecting work plans and report impacts
• Lead section meetings to review safety, quality, progress, and design aspects
• Ensure effective implementation of Laing O Rourke project management systems and procedures
• Participate in contract review processes
• Chair monthly safety committee meetings, record minutes, distribute information, and follow up on actions

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a recognized equivalent qualification
