Join Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service as a Project Manager and lead transformative projects that protect and serve our communities.

Project Manager
Arnold, Nottingham, NG5 8PP

Location: Arnold, Nottingham. Role: Full time, 37 hours per week. Fixed Term Contract of 12 months. Grade 7: £44,075 - £48,226.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, quality and budget
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Manage risks and provide accurate reporting and financial oversight
  • Produce essential project documentation and communicate progress to the organisation
  • Facilitate and manage change to ensure a smooth transition to business as usual
  • Coach and mentor Project Support Officers, promoting their continuous development
Experience / Qualifications
  • Experience and a track record of managing projects in various sectors
  • Hold a relevant project management qualification and a degree (or equivalent)
  • GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Proficient and skilled in project governance and change management
  • Understanding of project management methodologies
  • Proven leader with the ability to motivate and develop individuals
  • Ability to use tact and diplomacy with stakeholders at various levels
  • Hold a driving licence (adjustments will be discussed with disabled applicants if required)
