Job description

A respected and forward-thinking global real estate consultancy based in Derby is seeking a motivated Project Manager to support the delivery of key works for a major UK client in the manufacturing sector.

The Project Manager will join a collaborative site-based team in Raynesway, taking ownership of both Notifiable and Non-notifiable projects under CDM 2015 regulations. This is a career-defining opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager to manage full project lifecycles, drive stakeholder engagement, and implement best practices. The successful Project Manager will also help lead innovation and support the roll-out of sustainable solutions across a varied and technical portfolio.



The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple site-based projects from conception to completion, ensuring each scheme meets regulatory standards, timelines, and budget expectations. This is a hands-on role involving both strategic oversight and day-to-day coordination across stakeholders and contractors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing detailed project programmes and managing budgets

  • Coordinating site teams and promoting best practice delivery

  • Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 and UK building regulations

  • Leading client reporting and project meetings

  • Managing risk mitigation and quality assurance

  • Encouraging innovation and sustainable design (BREEAM, BIM)



The Project Manager

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within UK construction, M&E, or manufacturing

  • Knowledge of UK H&S and CDM 2015 regulations

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM, or RICS accreditation preferred

  • Familiarity with project delivery software and reporting tools

  • Desirable: SMSTS, NEBOSH General or Construction, BIM, Agile delivery
