Job description

Project Manager, £50,000 + 10% Bonus + Great Benefits + Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office, 3-4 days remote), based in Newcastle. Monday to Friday only, with a fantastic growing company and culture.

Overview:

The role involves supporting, developing, and implementing a structured delivery approach that exceeds client objectives and expectations. The successful candidate will oversee a less experienced Project Manager, ensuring effective client communication, operational excellence, and efficient delivery of key client campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, mentor, and manage Project Managers to ensure successful campaign execution.
  2. Collaborate with the Client Delivery Lead and Product/Delivery Team to standardise campaign delivery processes, reducing costs.
  3. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  4. Support achievement of operational KPIs.
  5. Set performance goals, review performance regularly, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  6. Work with the Client Success Lead to manage and coach the Client Success Team daily.
  7. Understand client business objectives and ensure campaigns align with these goals.
  8. Assist key clients in managing operational aspects of projects and contracts.
  9. Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to establish targets, objectives, and schedules, integrating these into the project plan.
  10. Serve as a primary contact for account teams and clients, fostering strong communication and relationships.
  11. Conduct regular reviews with clients, providing updates, insights, and recommendations.
  12. Plan and oversee complex contracts and standard platform campaigns, ensuring timely, within scope, and within budget delivery.
  13. Align campaign schedules and resources to meet multiple client demands effectively.
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Legal, etc.) for smooth campaign launches and delivery.
  15. Regularly review campaign delivery processes to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
  16. Work with the team to standardise processes and improve workflows.
  17. Identify inefficiencies and develop strategies to address root causes.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of experience in client delivery, client services, or project management, preferably in technology or marketing agencies.
  2. Strong leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams.
  3. Excellent client communication and relationship management skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders.
  4. Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and tracking financial performance.
  5. Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a passion for delivering quality projects.
  7. Proficiency with project management tools and software.
