Project Manager, £50,000 + 10% Bonus + Great Benefits + Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office, 3-4 days remote), based in Newcastle. Monday to Friday only, with a fantastic growing company and culture.
Overview:
The role involves supporting, developing, and implementing a structured delivery approach that exceeds client objectives and expectations. The successful candidate will oversee a less experienced Project Manager, ensuring effective client communication, operational excellence, and efficient delivery of key client campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage Project Managers to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Collaborate with the Client Delivery Lead and Product/Delivery Team to standardise campaign delivery processes, reducing costs.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support achievement of operational KPIs.
- Set performance goals, review performance regularly, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Work with the Client Success Lead to manage and coach the Client Success Team daily.
- Understand client business objectives and ensure campaigns align with these goals.
- Assist key clients in managing operational aspects of projects and contracts.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to establish targets, objectives, and schedules, integrating these into the project plan.
- Serve as a primary contact for account teams and clients, fostering strong communication and relationships.
- Conduct regular reviews with clients, providing updates, insights, and recommendations.
- Plan and oversee complex contracts and standard platform campaigns, ensuring timely, within scope, and within budget delivery.
- Align campaign schedules and resources to meet multiple client demands effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Legal, etc.) for smooth campaign launches and delivery.
- Regularly review campaign delivery processes to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
- Work with the team to standardise processes and improve workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and develop strategies to address root causes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in client delivery, client services, or project management, preferably in technology or marketing agencies.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent client communication and relationship management skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and tracking financial performance.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a passion for delivering quality projects.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
