About the role

Lycetts Insurance Brokers, proudly part of Benefact Group, is looking for a Project Manager to join our Newcastle office on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.

As a Project Manager, you will lead and deliver key projects supporting our Leadership Management Board's vision. You will have the authority to direct internal and external staff seconded to project teams, ensuring successful project execution while maintaining business-as-usual activities.

What you'll be doing
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders; build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Manage project budgets, gather and analyse data to support business cases, and monitor progress.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for organizational change programs, including role profiles, operating manuals, and process flows.
  • Support project team members, ensuring adherence to standard working practices and empowering colleagues to deliver excellent service.
  • Plan, prioritise, and manage workflows to meet project deadlines, while staying updated with industry trends and delivering effective presentations.
  • Prepare project initiation documents and progress reports; contribute to the overall change management agenda.
What you'll need to have
  • Ability to build and manage cooperative and productive relationships.
  • Effective workflow and process development skills.
  • Familiarity with methods and techniques related to planning and monitoring project progress.
  • Experience delivering at least two projects involving the implementation of COTS/Packaged software solutions, with a clear approach to such projects.
  • Experience in Financial Services or other regulated industries.
  • Proficiency in techniques for analysing, modelling, and understanding a business and its operations.
  • Understanding of the functional structure of businesses and organisations; their mission, objectives, strategies, and critical success factors.
