Job summary

Primark is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Contract) to support a critical supplier transition programme. Based in Reading or Dublin with hybrid working two days per week, you will coordinate a technical transformation and ensure plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies are managed across multiple teams and partners.

You will liaise with internal technology teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers, maintain RAID and action logs, and drive governance and reporting to

• Experience in a Project Coordinator, PMO, or Project Manager role.
• Experience supporting technology, infrastructure, outsourcing, supplier management, or transition projects.
• Experience maintaining project plans, governance packs, RAID logs, and status reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Duration: Initial 6 Months

Contract Type: Day Rate (Inside IR35 if UK Based)

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a critical supplier transition programme within the organisation.

This role will play a key part in coordinating a technical transformation, ensuring activities are planned, tracked, and delivered effectively while managing dependencies across multiple teams and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the technical and operational change of a strategic technology supplier.


• Track project plans, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.


• Support governance activities, project reporting, and stakeholder communications.


• Liaise with internal technology teams, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to ensure a smooth transition.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, PMO, or Project Manager role.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.


• Experience maintaining project plans, governance packs, RAID logs, and status reporting.


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively across business, technology, and third-party partner teams.


• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach.

Desirable Experience

• Experience supporting supplier exits, contract transitions, or vendor offboarding activities.


• Retail industry experience.


• Knowledge of IT service management, infrastructure, or technology delivery environments.
