Following a period of significant change, the business is entering an important new phase, with investment in its operations and a varied portfolio of projects including shipbuilding, steel manufacturing, site capital investment and transformation programmes.

This isn't a role where you will manage project plans from the sidelines. You will be responsible for bringing people together, keeping projects moving and keep projects moving, working across Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Commercial and other functions.

You will take projects from planning through to delivery, building project plans, managing milestones, monitoring progress and tackling issues before they become problems.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating Integrated Project Teams across Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Commercial.
  • Managing project risks, issues, changes and dependencies.
  • Monitoring cost, schedule and performance and taking corrective action where required.
  • Providing clear updates and reports to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely on-time and to the required quality standards.

APM, PRINCE2, PMI or a similar Project Management qualification would be advantageous.

Experience of MS Project, Primavera P6, Project Controls, EVM or NEC contracts would also be beneficial.

You must be eligible for BPSS security clearance, with nationality and residency requirements potentially applying.
