Job description

Location: Ringwood, Hampshire, BH24 + hybrid home working.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Profit Share and Benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Full time, perm role.

Project Manager - The Role

This is a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys the challenges of working on multiple projects concurrently, delivering exceptionally high-quality projects for our customers.

In this role, you will engage with customers to help design and deliver projects which fit with their business needs and IT strategies, using PRINCE2 based methodology.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Compiling Project Documentation such as: PIDs, Highlight Reports, End of Project Reports etc.
  2. Managing relationships and communication with end users, customers, internal departments, and third-party organisations.
  3. Managing and reporting project time and cost against budget.
  4. Ensuring project risks and issues are identified, managed & mitigation plans are in place.
  5. Transitioning project deliverables into live service.

Project Manager - The Skills You Will Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need to hold a Prince2 Practitioner, ITIL, PMP or equivalent qualification and have an understanding or experience in some of the technologies being deployed, i.e., Desktop Refresh projects, Server Replacements, Network Infrastructure or Cloud Infrastructure deployments.

Additional skills required:

  1. Excellent interpersonal skills
  2. Excellent time management skills
  3. Experience managing projects
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and keen eye on attention to detail
  5. Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft applications including, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
