We’re looking for a proactive and organised Project Manager to join our Transformation team at Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG). This is a maternity cover role, offered on a fixed-term basis until 31st December 2026.
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading cross-functional projects that drive innovation, improve services, and support the delivery of our Corporate Plan.
Please note: This is a temporary post ending on 31st December 2026.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to take ownership of end-to-end project delivery – from scoping through to implementation and evaluation. You’ll coordinate project activity, keep tasks on track, and ensure collaboration across teams and with stakeholders, including tenants. Your work will be central to embedding change and continuous improvement throughout WCHG.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage business transformation projects to successful delivery
Develop and maintain project plans, risk logs, and communication strategies
Support colleagues to complete project tasks and navigate change effectively
Ensure tenant and staff views are captured and incorporated into decisions
Use Systems Thinking, Agile, or other methodologies to deliver improvements
Create engaging communications around project activity and outcomes
Collaborate across departments to manage interdependencies and reduce silos
Coach and mentor colleagues involved in project delivery
What We’re Looking For
Experience in leading change or transformation projects (housing sector experience beneficial)
Understanding of project methodologies (Systems Thinking, Lean, Agile, PRINCE2)
Ability to work across all levels of the organisation and build strong relationships
Comfortable using data to inform decisions and track progress
Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic environment
