Job summary

VIQU Energy is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Multi Utilities to lead end-to-end delivery of complex schemes across the North West. You will coordinate design, planning and operations, manage client relationships and drive strong project performance while maintaining high safety, quality and environmental standards.

The role requires hands-on site leadership, effective stakeholder management, and a track record of delivering multi-utility projects within utilities or infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' site-based supervision or project management experience.
  • Experience within utilities, infrastructure, or construction delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations and safe systems of work.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • HNC/HND in Construction Management or related field.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Experience delivering multi-utility projects (gas, water, electricity, telecoms).
  • Experience managing contracts and commercial project performance.
  • Knowledge of sustainability initiatives in construction or utilities delivery.
  • Experience working on long-term frameworks or major client programmes.

Job description

A long-established infrastructure organisation operating across the UK utilities sector is seeking a Project Manager - Multi Utilities to lead the successful delivery of complex utility projects across the North West.

This role will focus on overseeing the end-to-end delivery of multi-utility schemes, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high commercial and quality standard. You will work closely with design, planning, and operational teams, while also managing client relationships and driving strong project performance across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You are an experienced project delivery professional with a strong background in utilities or infrastructure projects. You are confident leading site-based teams, managing multiple stakeholders, and ensuring safe and profitable delivery of complex works.

You are a strong communicator and natural leader, with the ability to motivate teams, solve problems quickly, and maintain excellent client relationships. You take ownership of outcomes and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.

Essential Experience & Qualifications
