Job summary

White-Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for an established global manufacturer of HVAC and fire suppression solutions in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on representing a major customer as the single point of contact and delivering complex projects.

You will manage schedules, costs, and RAMS while liaising with procurement, production, testing, and customers. A degree in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering or Business is expected, with AMP/PMP or Prince2 certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Several years of project management experience in an engineering or manufacturing capacity.
• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• You will be the single point of contact for a major customer and manage occasional ad-hoc projects.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate with procurement, production, test, customer and supply-chain functions.
• Organise planning and programming of the project; manage cost control and interim/final accounts.
• Handle RAMS, RFIs, variations, delays and monthly claims/invoices.
• Attend design meetings and perform periodic site visits.

Project Manager

My client is an established global manufacturer of engineered to order HVAC & fire suppression solutions.

We invite applications from Project Managers with Building Services or industrial engineering PM experience

The Role

• You will primarily be accountable fora major customer as the single point of contact, and occasional ad-hoc projects
• Maintaining project schedules are key to this role
• Working with key internal and external stakeholders to gain commitment to deliver; procurement, production, test, customer, supply-chain
• Project Management and Project Engineering - organise planning/programming of the project
• Cost control and interim/final accounts
• Project control including RFIs, Variations, Delays, Preparation of O&M manuals, raising monthly claims/invoices
• Attend design meetings with clients and carry out a site visits periodically
• Design risk assessment and produce RAMS

You

• Several years project management experience in an engineering or manufacturing capacity
• degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, alternatively Business Administration
• AMP/PMP, Prince2 certified
• Super organised, ability to work autonomously reporting to a remote line manager
