Job Opportunity: Project Manager - Civils Team (Rail Division)

A fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to lead our Civils team within the Rail Division. You will manage various civils projects, from minor drainage installations to major infrastructure projects. This role is based in Aylesford and involves working on exciting projects for our key clients in the rail and water industries, both within and outside rail infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Produce quotations, lead project planning, and oversee implementation to ensure alignment with scope and objectives.
2. Plan and schedule project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and maintain quality assurance standards.
3. Conduct risk assessments, develop method statements, and complete Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
4. Manage project administration, including documentation, to meet budgetary goals and report progress to senior management.
5. Build positive client relationships, monitor project performance, and evaluate results for continuous improvement.
6. Monitor project performance, conduct evaluations, and implement measures to improve outcomes.

Requirements:

1. Degree or HNC qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
2. Up-to-date knowledge of CDM regulations and health and safety standards.
3. Proven success in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards; project management certification is a plus.
4. Experience managing stakeholder relationships and influencing positive outcomes.
5. Commercial acumen with experience managing contracts to deliver value for money; NEC contract experience is desirable.
6. Experience in highways or rail sectors is advantageous.
