Job description

Airtask Group provides bespoke mission-based aviation solutions to Government and Commercial customers.

We currently have a requirement for a full-time Base / Project Manager based at Lydd Airport. This role will be pivotal to our Dash 8 Operation and will form a key part of delivering a critical year-round 24/7 service.

Candidates should possess excellent inter-personal skills and be team orientated with a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Key point of contact with Customer Project Managers & Prime Contract holder
  2. Liaison on technical, operational and contractual matters.
  3. Monitoring performance against Customer Statements of Requirement
  4. Implementation of procedures and policies as required to ensure smooth operations
  5. Monitoring and management of aircraft availability in accordance with the planned Engineering activity
  6. Interacting and seeking advice/input from Key Nominated Persons as appropriate
  7. Working with the Safety Manager to ensure compliance with the Company Safety Policy and objectives, also acting as a key member of the Safety Action Group
  8. Management of, and liaison with subcontractors providing Core Services within the scope of the contract
Essential Skills and Experience:
  1. Experienced in the management of UK CAA AOC regulated Operations with a good working knowledge of regulation as it pertains to:
  • Ground Operations
  • Flight Operations
  • Maintenance Planning and execution
  • Safety Management
  • Proficient working knowledge of Airline Operation environments
  • Candidates should have demonstrable experience which must be clearly identified and explained within your application.
