Project Manager – Architectural Fabrication
Location: Bedfordshire
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 DOE

Orion is partnered with a well-established and respected architectural metalwork and fabrication company based in Bedfordshire. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in architectural fabrication, specifically in the delivery of projects involving balustrades, staircases, handrails, railings, façade panels, cladding systems, and associated bespoke metalwork.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Managing multiple architectural fabrication projects from inception to completion

• Leading all phases: design coordination, workshop fabrication, site installation, and commercial oversight

• Interpreting and working from technical and CAD drawings

• Close liaison with clients, architects, and contractors

• Conducting regular site visits and managing installation teams

• Coordinating internal teams and subcontractors to meet tight programme deadlines

• Ensuring all works comply with quality, safety, and budgetary targets

Project Manager Experience:

• Proven experience delivering architectural metalwork projects, especially:

  • Balustrades

  • Staircases (straight, helical, cantilevered)

  • Handrails and safety railings

  • Decorative and functional cladding panels

  • Bespoke architectural features

• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and site installation constraints

• Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects

• Proficient in project programming and MS Office

• Confident in client-facing roles and managing stakeholder expectations

• Valid UK Driver's Licence

• Right to work in the UK

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday Core hours: 08:00 – 17:30
