Job description

Are you an experienced Project Manager?

Are you looking for a 12-month+ contract?

Are you happy quoting, managing, and solving issues on engineering maintenance contracts?

This role covers South East Projects.

The contract involves delivering electrical and mechanical small projects won through maintenance contracts via a 3rd party contractor. As our Project Manager, you will support project completion working under the operations director.

The duties of the Project Manager role include:

1. Ensuring the smooth running of sites through regular liaison with key stakeholders, supervisors, and sub-contractors
2. Monitoring works and performance on site
3. Building effective and professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
4. Managing a team of supervisors and support staff

Projects may include:

• LED Lighting
• Plant room fit-out
• Gas network infrastructure fit-outs
• Office fit-outs
• Energy centre

This will involve a mix of in-house labour and subcontractors.

Key deliverables include:

• Solving issues independently
• Possibly some engineering background
• Experience with survey and build quotes for jobs

Requirements:

• Experience in delivering public sector contracts in the hard services engineering field
• Experience with maintenance contracts
• CSCS card, full UK driving license, and a safety management qualification such as IOSH or SMSTS

Package:

• Rate dependant on experience: £350-£370
• Car package negotiable
• Hybrid working: 1 day in the office, 2 days on-site, 2 days remote. Site visits and client meetings included within this schedule.
