At Stannah, we're proud to deliver life-enhancing solutions through the safe and efficient installation of lift systems. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Project Manager with a strong engineering background and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

As the Project Manager you will be working around the M25 with working in London as well.

As a Project Manager, you'll oversee the successful delivery of lift installation projects managing customer expectations and delivering installations that are safe, on time, within budget, and with zero defects.

  • Enforce and lead on H&S priorities above all else.
  • Own all elements of project planning once jobs turn yellow on the Installations Dashboard.
  • Ensure no delivery proceeds without a completed Pre-Start check.
  • Book and manage deliveries at least 3 weeks in advance.
  • Complete 4 key checks pre-start, post-delivery, progress, and pre-test as per procedure.
  • Attend key meetings and support complex projects.
  • Monitor installation subcontractors for performance and compliance.
  • Protect and enhance project margins. Price variations and validate Dayworks.
  • Manage post-handover warranty period and resolve any outstanding issues or defects.
  • Issue weekly project summaries, attend meetings, and maintain clear records.

Industry Experience: Background in installing/testing passenger lifts and understanding of lift/building standards and construction sites.

Qualifications: Relevant engineering (e.g. NVQ3, HNC) and project management certifications (e.g. Prince2, APM), plus CSCS card and health & safety credentials (e.g. IOSH).

Project Management Skills: Proven experience managing projects with strong time management, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.

Technical Proficiency: Able to read technical drawings, use project tools/software (e.g. MS Project, dashboards), and handle documentation effectively.

Communication & Work Ethic: Clear communicator, self-motivated, customer-focused, and capable of working independently.
