Job summary

A leading contractor is seeking a Project Lead/Manager for a mixed development project. You'll oversee the transformation of a Grade II listed building into both residential and commercial spaces. This role offers significant responsibility, with an emphasis on managing fit-out processes and ensuring high standards of delivery. Ideal candidates will possess strong project management experience and a CSCS card.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of fit-out stages from 1st fix to completion.
  • Client facing with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Job description

O'Neill and Brennan are currently recruiting a project lead / manager for a new division of a small contractor.

The project is a mixed development, Youll be lead of creating both residential and commercial spaces within an existing Grade II listed building. Scope of works include roof extension, façade restoration and internal fit out.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage the internal fit-out works and envelope from1st fix through to final handover.
  2. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider site team to ensure smooth delivery.
  3. Ensure all works are completed to the highest standards, in line with programme, budget, and health & safety requirements.
  4. Carry out quality inspections and ensure compliance with client specifications.
  5. Manage snagging and handover processes.
  6. Issue progress reports and chair progress meetings.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Project Manager in similar roles.
  2. Strong knowledge of fit-out stages and processes, particularly from 1st fix through to completion.
  3. Ability to lead and coordinate teams effectively on-site.
  4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  5. Client facing. Represent the company in a good
  6. Valid CSCS card and other relevant site qualifications.

This role is either long term freelance ( CIS ), Temp to Perm ( With review )
