Job Description

Our Client, a global FMCG brand are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team assisting with a large Global Systems Transformation project.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing key projects within this transformation programme. Reporting into the Program Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all aspects of the project are delivered on time, within scope, and according to budget. You will work in close collaboration with senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, driving success through agile project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of project execution, ensuring strict adherence to scope, budget, and timelines
  • Define and enforce clear project deliverables and milestones, holding all stakeholders accountable
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager, Scrum Master, Business Analysts, and PMO to ensure objectives are met
  • Develop detailed project plans with clear deadlines and track progress diligently
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and blockers, taking decisive action to mitigate delays
  • Maintain clear and transparent communication with all teams and senior stakeholders
  • Implement a disciplined and structured agile approach, ensuring rigorous control over execution
  • Provide assertive leadership to drive on-time delivery and ensure commitments are met by all parties
  • Deliver no-excuse status updates to leadership, highlighting risks, issues, and corrective actions
  • Enforce change control processes to prevent scope creep and ensure project discipline

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience leading and owning complex transformation projects, preferably within Retail, Food & Beverage, or Events industries
  • Strong ability to drive accountability and enforce project timelines and deliverables
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge and push for results
  • Experience working in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment where adaptability and resilience are essential
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a no-nonsense approach to problem-solving
  • Expertise in managing cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment between business and IT teams
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or equivalent) is highly desirable

This is a 6-month, Outside IR35, rolling contract opportunity.
