Job description

A global commercial real estate advisory firm based in Central London is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join their collaborative team. This forward-thinking consultancy offers the successful Project Manager the chance to work across a variety of high-impact capital works projects. This is a rewarding opportunity for a Project Manager who is passionate about making a difference through the built environment.



The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will lead construction and engineering projects, delivering a full project management consultancy service to a diverse client base. Responsibilities will include:

  • Directing and managing multi-disciplinary project teams from design to handover

  • Chairing meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders

  • Monitoring project performance, identifying corrective actions where needed

  • Controlling project quality, programme, cost and change throughout the lifecycle

  • Acting as Client's Representative, Employer's Agent or Contract Administrator

  • Using recognised methodologies such as RIBA Plan of Work or Prince2

You will be expected to take ownership, lead from the front, and deliver results that align with the client's and firm's objectives.



The Project Manager

The ideal Project Manager will have:

  • A degree in Surveying, Construction, Engineering or similar

  • Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM or equivalent) or working towards it

  • Experience delivering projects across sectors such as workplace, arts & culture, or commercial development

  • Excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills

  • Experience with project planning tools such as Asta Powerproject or Microsoft Project

  • A collaborative, inclusive and detail-focused approach to leadership
