Job description

An award-winning market leader in the Energy Efficiency space is seeking a Project Manager to manage a project portfolio servicing some of the largest Blue-Chip Property Companies globally.

The client is a Global firm that has strengthened over the past decade, winning multiple industry awards. This position is for growth, reflecting the company's strength and ambition.

The Project Manager will join the UK team based in London, primarily overseeing projects related to the installation of monitoring systems in commercial buildings.

Accountability / Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee commissioning, project engineers, or contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
2. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
3. Conduct site surveys to define project scope.
4. Report on project delivery within the UK & European regions.
5. Create project documentation, including contractor scope of work, meter lists, and networking requirements.
6. Provide technical support onsite during monitoring installations.
7. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and local regulations.
8. Possess or have hands-on experience with project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 or similar.
9. Hold electrical qualifications or trade experience (preferred).
10. Have expertise in sub-metering (electricity, water, gas, thermal).
11. Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
12. Experience managing projects in the commercial sector (desirable).
13. Proficient in preparing project documentation and work packages.
14. Experience reviewing health & safety documentation in the UK and Europe.
15. Track record of managing contractors from pre-qualification through project completion.
