The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join the senior management team to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, and leisure with build values up to £20m. Your responsibilities encompass the comprehensive management of the project lifecycle, ensuring that each project strictly adheres to its specified requirements, remains within established budgetary limits, and is executed to the highest standards of quality.

Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a comparable role, successfully managing a diverse range of residential, commercial, industrial, and leisure projects with build values of up to £20m
- Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar position for a leading contractor or subcontractor

Key Responsibilities
- Procuring materials
- Perform safety inspections
- Reporting to Managing Director
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members
- Track potential risks and implement necessary plan modifications
- Define key milestones and deadlines, coordinating task schedules accordingly
- Communicate changes to all relevant stakeholders and adjust plans accordingly
- Detect and resolve any budget discrepancies, making adjustments as necessary
- Ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled and resolve any issues that emerge
- Execute quality assurance processes through routine inspections and evaluations
- Oversee and distribute project resources, including staff, equipment, and materials
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and records
- Verify all project objectives were met and provide recommendations for future projects
- Develop and oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain financial control
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the established quality standards and specifications
- Handle negotiation and management of contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Supervise resources, ensuring they are utilized efficiently and effectively to achieve project goals
- Promote a collaborative and effective team environment, promptly addressing any conflicts or issues
- Guide, motivate, and supervise project teams, assigning tasks based on individual skills and expertise
- Monitor project performance and progress, implementing necessary changes to keep the project on track
- Act as the main contact for stakeholders, updating them on project progress and addressing any concerns
- Schedule regular meetings and oversee communication to enhance transparency and support collaboration
- Handle any changes to the project scope, timeline, or budget, ensuring they are documented and approved
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and motivating members to achieve project goals
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, clearly outlining key achievements and any challenges encountered throughout the project
- Supervise the execution of project tasks and activities, ensuring they are finalised on schedule and within the defined scope
