Are you a driven Project Manager with a passion for leading complex engineering programmes from concept to completion? We’re looking for an experienced and proactive individual to join our dynamic team, managing a portfolio of high-impact projects across the engineering and defence sectors.

The Role:

As Project Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will play a pivotal role in driving performance across the full project lifecycle—from initial bid and new product development to production transition and in-service support.

So, what will you be doing as a Project Manager?

  1. Lead and manage a portfolio of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and business objectives.
  2. Monitor and control project performance (cost, schedule, risk), conducting regular reviews and driving corrective action where needed.
  3. Coordinate cross-functional teams, tools, and resources to meet critical milestones.
  4. Provide clear leadership and communication across project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
  5. Prepare accurate bids, reports, and project updates, supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.
  6. Inspire and motivate your team by setting direction, creating a shared vision, and fostering a collaborative working environment.
  7. Support the Programmes Director/Manager in broader departmental initiatives as needed.

What are we looking for in our next Project Manager?

  1. Proven experience delivering full-lifecycle projects in an engineering, manufacturing, or systems integration environment.
  2. Strong background in New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD).
  3. Degree qualified in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
  5. Commercially astute with a customer-centric approach.
  6. Familiarity with project management software and ERP systems (e.g., IFS).
  7. Experience in the Defence or Maritime sector is highly desirable.
  8. Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas.

Why Join Us?

Perks and Benefits:

  1. Competitive Salary: Attractive compensation package based on experience and expertise.
