Job summary

E3recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for a Leeds-based role with a 37.5-hour week and flexible start times. The position offers on-site facilities including gym and subsidised canteen, with a 3-month contract that may extend. You will lead projects, ensure safety culture, support tendering, and drive profitability.

The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with customers and suppliers, delivering projects to meet expectations and budgets.

Qualifications

• Take full accountability for successful delivery of projects against commercial, financial, quality, schedule and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Coordinate tendering by supporting the sales team, assessing customer requirements and ensuring competitive, compliant proposals.
• Drive project profitability and commercial performance, including risk management and contract dispute resolution.
• Coordinate project execution from handover through delivery, leading kick-offs and cross-functional collaboration.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders with proactive communication.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

• Lead and promote a positive health & safety culture through visible leadership, safety observations, interventions and site safety walks.
• Take full accountability for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring performance against commercial, financial, quality, schedule and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Manage the tendering process by supporting the sales team, assessing customer requirements and ensuring commercially compliant, competitive proposals.
• Drive project profitability and commercial performance, including risk management, quality documentation and the resolution of contractual disputes.
• Coordinate project execution from handover through delivery, facilitating kick-off meetings, resource planning and cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Procurement and Operations.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, providing proactive communication and ensuring projects are delivered to meet client expectations.

Working Hours of the Project Manager:
37.5 Hours per week with flexible start time offered.

• Core Hours: 10:00 – 15:30 Monday to Thursday / 10:00 to 14:30 Friday
• Earliest Start: 07:00

In return, the Project Manager will receive:

• Renumeration: £30.98 per hour (paid via Umbrella PAYE)
• Contract Length: 3 Months (likely to go on longer but not guaranteed)
• Pension Contribution after 3 months
