Job summary

CIH International Housing Group in Leeds is seeking a seasoned Project Manager responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time and within budget, while ensuring quality standards and stakeholder value.

You will coordinate resources, manage risks, lead cross-functional teams, and act as the main liaison with clients and vendors, applying PMP/PRINCE2 practices and using Jira or MS Project to track progress.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects.
• Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Strong budgeting and resource allocation skills.

Purpose of the Position:

The main purpose of this role is to plan, execute, and close projects ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will be the central coordinator, managing resources, risks, and team communication to achieve specific organisational goals and deliver value to stakeholders.

Person Specification

Qualifications and experience:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related technical field such as engineering.
• Certifications to include Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or related certificates.
• Proven experience in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, allocate resources, and mitigate risks.
• Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and team motivation skills to lead, often under pressure.
• Experience using project management tools (e.g. Jira, MS Project) and software packages.
• Previous experience project managing in an engineering sector.
