As the project manager within the 2Excel Capability Development team, you will find yourself supporting projects through the administration of project management tools and the coordination of the project delivery team to an agreed end state.

The role’s key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Adhere, and in the case of our project management processes, create/develop, to the procedures
• Generate project data as directed by the Engineering Project Lead, Programme Manager or Head of Programme Support
• To monitor and report on key design/manufacturing/ installation subcontractors from a programmatic perspective.
• Providing feedback to your Line Manager or their nominated representative on suggested improvements, efficiencies and ways to enhance the way in which we work under the DOH/POE/MOE/TPM/QM/PMH.
• Reviewing Bids/Proposals, including weighting
• To support the day-to-day running of the Design Organisation and Programme Support Function.
• To identify effective courses of action to support/complete a task when identified. To be proactive, decisive, innovative and forward-thinking regarding the completion of the entire job on time.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, supply chain, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
• Be aware of and consider any specific project governance procedures throughout the project lifecycle
• Be familiar with the contents of the project documentation set to ensure successful project delivery
• Establishing and maintaining the programme schedule, in conjunction with the appropriate Engineering Project Lead, to ensure all tasks for a particular job are identified, planned, and resourced sufficiently
• Establishing, maintaining and managing the project DAREOCI (including relevant risks, exclusions, dependencies, assumptions, opportunities as applicable) on behalf of the risk owners
• Demonstrate the ability to elicit the required information from the project team to establish and maintain the project management tools.
• Support the development of these TORs.
