Where will you be working?

Aviation- Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be supporting the Resilience Contract with provision of trained resource and support business through best utilisation of systems, technology, time, and resources, ensuring compliance standards are met through high quality-controlled documentation, processes and procedures. Ensuring our airport operating licences are in place and our people and plant are operating within the rules set by each individual airport.

  • Managing company’s Operator Licences across all the airports.
  • Manage and programme training plans.
  • Authorised Signatory for Heathrow Airport and other regional airports (temporary and permanent passes). Managing processes involved in referencing, registering GSAT/BSAT, applying for DBS, completing security interviews.
  • Ensure accountability for pass management and compliance.
  • Liaising and dealing with Senior Managers and supporting their requirements around Airside Passes at different airports.
  • Follow strict regulations around Airside passes set up by DfT and CAA, specific to vehicles and personnel
  • Maintains and coordinates high quality document control and record keeping, required for audits by Heathrow ID Centre, Heathrow AOL Team.
  • Maintaining internal databases and training document control that is set according to GDPR and our TMM (Training Management Manual).
  • Look after vehicle airside passes and keeping up to date with vehicle inspections.
  • Manage and control all resource provision for Client Resilience needs.
  • In collaboration with other Winter Resilience management team members establish, develop and implement plans to ensure effective deployment of staff and resources. Minimise risk and determine effective incident reporting plans.
  • Good communications skills and ability to work well with other teams and departments at all levels both internally and externally, including client liaison.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the quality of delivered products by identifying and introducing improvement opportunities.
  • Share knowledge and coach team members to support improvements in team’s performance.
  • Excellent data management and Quality Control.
  • Implement the requirements of the Company Management System (CMS), as applicable to the business operations.
  • Keep up to date with legislations and current industry standards from CAA and DfT.
  • Desire for self-development and continuous self-improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in a management role
  • Experience working within the construction, engineering and aviation sectors
  • Previous experience and knowledge of airside passes and operator licences.
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Competent in Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Full UK driving license
  • 5yr Traceable employment
  • Desire for self-development and continuous self-improvement.
