Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to lead NPD initiatives in medical devices and life sciences, delivering compliant, world-class products.

You will manage project plans, budgets and timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure regulatory compliance (ISO, MDR, FDA) in a fully onsite, temporary contract until December 2026. Qualifications

• Degree in Science or Engineering or PM qualification.
• Proven experience managing complex projects in matrix organisations.
• Strong planning, budgeting, risk and stakeholder management.
• Experience with ISO, MDR, FDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept through to delivery.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, resources, risks, and timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, MDR regulations, FDA requirements, and internal quality processes.
• Maintain project governance, reporting, documentation, and project controls.
• Drive project performance and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Degree in Science or Engineering, Project Management qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven experience managing complex projects within a matrix organisation.
• Strong project planning, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
• Experience within medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Knowledge of medical device regulations and product development processes.
• Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with international or geographically dispersed teams.
