Project Manager

Certain Advantage are hiring for Project Manager based in Heysham.

This is a permanent position and is onsite.

Certain Advantage are working with a global Engineering and Technical services firm to hire an experienced Project Manager with a background of working at Power Stations and Nuclear Licensed Sites is but not essential and everyone working in the team will have a proven track record of working within highly regulated environments with high safety standards.

The role:

  • Project Managers are accountable to the client PPM for successful delivery of all aspects of their assigned projects. The Project Manager sets the project execution strategy in agreement with the client PPM and uses a cross-functional project team to deliver the project safely in line with company policies and procedures, achieving established goals and objectives within the agreed baseline. This role has no direct reports.
  • Everyone working in our team will have a proven track record of working within highly regulated environments with high safety standards and culture.
  • Good communication and organisational skills are a must with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks and be results-focused tempered with a team-centred approach.

The individual:

  • APMP qualification or equivalent, experienced in modern project management within complex organizations, with strong knowledge of engineering, design, procurement, safety cases, construction, commissioning, and contracting.
  • Familiar with Safety Case development, implementation, and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation, including CDM.
  • Skilled in quality assurance and control, with experience in commercial, contractual, and financial project aspects.
  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-discipline projects across their lifecycle and leading integrated project teams.
