Responsibilities for this Freelance Project Manager Role:

1. You will ensure quality systems are suitably managed in line with service excellence.
2. You will deliver and manage project plans from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
3. You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of senior project managers and other leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.
4. Determines and arranges project technical services and external resources required for project/s.

Key Experience for this Freelance Project Manager Role:

1. Experience working in the rail sector, a professional qualification in project management.
2. Good knowledge and understanding of project and programme management methodologies and their practical application in a transport setting.
3. An understanding of project control tools and techniques such as change management, risk management etc.
4. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
