Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives across our global organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, delivery-focused Project Manager who thrives in complex environments and enjoys working at the intersection of business transformation, technology, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering several high-profile programmes, with an immediate focus on projects including:

  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • SAP initiatives and enhancements
  • Treasury Management System implementations
  • Other enterprise technology and business transformation projects

Why This Role?

We are particularly interested in candidates who have gained project management experience within a manufacturing environment. Understanding how technology supports production, supply chain, operations, and business-critical manufacturing processes will be a significant advantage.

You will work closely with business leaders, IT teams, enterprise architects, external vendors, and implementation partners to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initiation through to implementation and business transition.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and delivery forecasts.
  • Establish effective governance, reporting, and steering committee structures.
  • Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to achieve delivery objectives.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across business functions and global locations.
  • Ensure project outcomes meet agreed business, operational, and technical requirements.
  • Support change management, business readiness, training, and adoption activities.
  • Provide regular and transparent reporting to sponsors and senior leadership.
  • Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale IT, digital, or business transformation projects.
  • Strong project management expertise across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, resources, timelines, governance, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience working on enterprise technology projects involving business and IT teams.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery execution.

Highly Preferred

  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing organisation.
  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • SAP programmes
  • Finance or Treasury systems
  • Operational technology (OT) and manufacturing technology projects

Languages

We would particularly welcome applications from candidates who can communicate at a business-professional level in French and/or German. This is not essential but would be highly advantageous given the international nature of our programmes and stakeholder community.

Success in This Role

You will be successful if you can:

  • Deliver complex projects confidently from planning through implementation.
  • Build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
  • Navigate competing priorities and stakeholder expectations in a global environment.
  • Drive accountability, governance, and execution excellence.
  • Enable successful business outcomes through effective technology delivery.
