Job summary

Rochdale Council is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead digital and business change projects that improve services for residents. You will work with senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and lasting benefits, with autonomy to own projects and build strong relationships across teams.

You'll join a supportive, ambitious team and operate in a hybrid working environment, delivering projects from initiation through to handover and benefits realisation.

What you'll be doing

As a Project Manager, you'll lead projects from initial concept through to implementation and handover into service. You'll work closely with stakeholders, suppliers and project teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully and provide lasting benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

About you

We're looking for someone who combines strong project management skills with excellent people skills.

You'll have experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle and be confident managing competing priorities, influencing stakeholders and working across organisational boundaries. Whether your experience has been gained in local government, the public sector or elsewhere, you'll be passionate about delivering positive change and improving services.

You'll bring:
