We're looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transforming and improving our operations, working alongside senior stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams across the organisation.
As a Project Manager, you'll take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery, bringing structure, leadership, and energy to every stage of the project lifecycle. You'll inspire cross-functional teams, build strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
This role offers significant exposure across the business, providing the opportunity to influence decision-making, drive meaningful change, and contribute to the success of a growing organisation operating within the London insurance market.
The day to day:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, from business requirements and planning through to implementation and post-delivery review.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements to ensure successful outcomes.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, governance structures, and reporting frameworks.
- Coordinate internal teams, third-party suppliers, and business stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor project progress, proactively managing risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests.
- Ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Use project management best practices and tools to track performance, measure success, and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide clear and concise updates to senior leadership, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain high-quality project documentation and ensure strong governance standards are followed.
- Collaborate closely with Business Leaders, IT teams, and Central Services to support strategic business initiatives.
About you:

- Degree-qualified in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing projects within the London Market and/or Lloyd's insurance sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects across the full project lifecycle.
- Strong project planning, governance, risk management, and reporting experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and pragmatically.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, and delivery tools.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to influence, motivate, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated success delivering projects to agreed scope, budget, and timelines.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, proactive, and resilient approach with sound decision-making abilities
- Occasional travel to UK sites, primarily across the Southeast, will be required.
The rewards:
- A negotiable basic salary and all the normal benefits you'd expect ("Holiday, company pension etc.")
- A collaborative, open and honest environment that is designed to deliver the best outcomes to our clients and staff
- This is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of three days per week in our London office. During your first three months, additional office attendance may be beneficial to support onboarding, relationship building, and familiarisation with our business and systems.
- An environment built around supporting and developing our staff with funding available for relevant professional qualifications.
