Position: Project Manager

Location: Glasgow - Rutherglen - 35 Duchess Road

Role: Full Time, Hybrid working offered

Are you looking for a new opportunity?

Mite are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support and deliver Construction Projects across the National Grid Estate.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of projects.
• Manage and lead Construction Projects on-site, liaising with Senior Management, clients, subcontractors, and other trades, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.
• Manage the work of consultants, allocate resources efficiently, and maintain a motivated team.
• Maintain a commercial understanding of the project, advise on cost savings, and represent the company professionally.
• Ensure site safety for visitors and staff, following safety protocols and health and safety policies.

Key Duties

• Develop project scope with the Project Sponsor.
• Ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Manage resources and relationships with various stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with clients, authorities, and project teams.
• Manage project finances in collaboration with the Commercial team.
• Maintain project schedules and progress reports.
• Handle project issues and scope changes.

Person Specification

• Extensive experience managing full project life cycles in construction.
• Proactive planning skills and regular review of project plans.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations.
• Proficiency in site management, Monday.com, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong achievement orientation, problem-solving skills, and ability to overcome barriers.
• Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Experience in the Construction or Facilities sector.
