Job description

Our client designs and builds projects for National Grid to construct SEAP-rated perimeter fences and integrated security systems to protect strategic assets on the electrical transmission networks.

Due to expansion, they are looking for a talented Project Manager.

Duties
  1. Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  2. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  3. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  4. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  5. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  6. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  7. Develop and maintain project documentation including project charters, status reports, and risk registers.
  8. Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  9. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  10. Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Experience
  • Proven working experience as a Project Manager in cybersecurity, including CCTV and access control.
  • Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in security technologies.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Waterfall methodology is required; Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or other project management software tools is preferred.
