Our client designs and builds projects for National Grid to construct SEAP-rated perimeter fences and integrated security systems to protect strategic assets on the electrical transmission networks.
Due to expansion, they are looking for a talented Project Manager.
Duties
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project documentation including project charters, status reports, and risk registers.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Experience
- Proven working experience as a Project Manager in cybersecurity, including CCTV and access control.
- Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in security technologies.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Waterfall methodology is required; Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with SharePoint or other project management software tools is preferred.
