About the Role:
4Site Recruitment are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a fast-paced, high-spec office fit out in Glasgow. You will manage the full project lifecycle from pre-start through to handover, ensuring safety, programme, and quality targets are met throughout.
Scope of Works:
Strip out, mechanical and electrical works, data, reception wall breakthrough, new ceilings and glazing, joinery, carpentry, flooring, decoration, new T-point, fire stopping, and mastic.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Start:
Lead subcontractor pre-start meetings and record minutes
Set up site in line with the PCI (Pre-Construction Information) document
Prepare and manage all site documentation
On Site:
Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring full compliance with H&S and legal standards
Deliver the project in line with the agreed scope, drawings, programme, and quality standards
Conduct all site inductions and review/approve RAMS for all trades
Chair regular subcontractor meetings and maintain accurate records
Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to meet programme milestones
Monitor progress against the master programme, reporting deviations where necessary
Carry out interim snagging, testing, and void closures using Site Audit Pro or similar system
Project Completion:
Produce and manage comprehensive snag lists by subcontractor
Ensure all snags are resolved before handover
Deliver a “sparkle clean” project ready for client handover
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing fit out or interior projects
Strong understanding of construction methodology, H&S, and project delivery
Able to manage multiple trades and subcontractors with confidence
Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
Proficient in MS Office and site-based project tracking tools
Mandatory Certifications:
SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid at Work, Fire Marshal
