Job description

Exciting Opportunity for a Project Manager in Exeter!
Join a reputable regional building contractor on a permanent basis, overseeing a range of construction services from pre-construction to handover. Clients span Government, Local Authorities, Healthcare, and Universities.

As the Project Manager, you'll lead commercial projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality results. Prior experience with main contractors and managing large-scale commercial projects is a must for this role. Apply now for this dynamic opportunity!

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain & develop overall strategy for the project
  2. Manage and maintain a clear staffing structure
  3. Procure materials, plant and sub-contractors
  4. Ensure all works carried out are in accordance with all HS&E and the site Health Safety and Environmental Plans
  5. Mitigate legal issues and defects liability for the business
  6. Liaise with Contracts Managers on a Monthly basis, client and end users
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience of managing large value commercial schemes
  2. CSCS, First Aid at work, SMSTS
  3. Relevant degree or equivalent construction related qualification
  4. Relevant Driving licence
  5. Steel frame experience desirable
  6. JCT/NEC/Design & Build experience
