We are currently hiring an experienced Project Manager to work on one of our frameworks at Sellafield. The framework involves delivering projects through a leading collaboration between the client, programme partners, delivery partners, and suppliers, working as an integrated team.

Our role includes design development and delivery of the Concrete Structures, Groundworks, and Blockwork packages.

The Project Manager will hold a key leadership position in a highly collaborative environment. You will oversee the timely execution and completion of both pre-construction and construction phases, with ownership, responsibility, and accountability for the project. You will identify project risks, highlight opportunities, and mentor continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiencies.

You will be recognized as a technical expert in your field, with significant management responsibility for a diverse workforce across various construction disciplines, including operational, engineering, technical, commercial, and business support. You will provide functional leadership throughout the project with a considerable degree of independence.

The Project Manager Role

You will:

  • Have full ownership, responsibility, and accountability from pre-construction through to project delivery.
  • Oversee the timely execution and completion of all project phases.
  • Identify project risks, highlight opportunities, and mentor continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiencies.
  • Be recognized as a technical expert with management responsibility for a diverse workforce across various disciplines.
  • Provide functional leadership with a significant degree of independence throughout the project.

Your Profile

You will have:

  • A proven track record in managing and successfully delivering complex reinforced concrete structures.
  • Experience with Project 13 Enterprise model or similar collaborative working approaches.
  • A strong civil engineering background with experience in RC Slabs, Earthworks, Infrastructure, Highways, Water, and Rail projects.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering a portfolio of civil projects valued circa 20-60 million.
  • Current knowledge of NEC4 Option E contract or similar commercial understanding.
  • Chartered Project Professional status or APM PMQ or equivalent qualification.
