A leading search company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Display projects from conception to delivery. This role requires a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and design, with responsibilities including client communication, budget monitoring, and project timelines. Ideal candidates will possess strong Excel skills, organizational abilities, and a minimum of 5 years in project management, preferably in retail design. This full-time position is based in Leiston, England.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in a Project Management role, preferably in Point of Purchase Design or Retail Display.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Strong budgeting and schedule management skills.
Willingness to travel and adapt to flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Review project briefs with the Account Manager to understand client requirements.
Monitor budget compliance and drive improvements.
Act as key contact for clients and ensure timely project delivery.
Facilitate handover meetings and agree on timelines.
Create and manage overall project time plan.
Communicate changes to team and stakeholders.
Manage all installation briefing and documentation.
Track installation progress and communicate updates.
Ensure quality control processes are followed.
Ensure quality checks and production sign-off are built into the schedule and documented.

The Role

Working within the Project team, you will be responsible for the execution of Display projects from creative brief through to delivery in store. Working with all internal stakeholders as well as external clients to deliver on time, on budget and to the right quality and service standard. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and a good grasp of design is essential.

Responsibilities

Reviewing project briefs with the Account Manager to fully understand the client requirements, ensure all correct details are included and all information is complete.
Monitoring budget compliance through the life of a project and driving for improvements.
Working directly with clients, external agencies and internal team associates as a key contact to ensure all relevant project data is organised and delivered on time.
Recommending continuous improvement ideas to the design and supply teams.
Facilitating handover meetings with supply and development teams, agreeing timelines and milestones.
Creating, managing, and monitoring the overall project time plan with the individual stakeholders to ensure delivery on plan.
Reviewing and establishing team priorities and communicating change to your team and stakeholders.
Acting as the facilitator working with the team to break through issues.
Managing any installation briefing, with all supporting scoping documentation and coordinating the access, tracking and sign off with the client.
Installation – working with the Buyer and Senior Project Manager to scope out the installation brief, coordinating with the installation company once the work order has been placed, tracking progress and communicating with the team and client all the way through.
Quality Management – understanding quality control processes required, working in conjunction with the buying team to ensure quality checks and production sign off is built into the schedule, communicated with the client and fully documented.

Skills and Experience

Experience with Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal and motivational skills.
Highly numerate and able to analyse and add value to inform decision making.
Attention to detail and well-developed organisational skills, able to multi‑task on simultaneous projects.
Ability to think out of the box.
Ability to work flexible hours, available to travel as required.
