An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager has arisen at a maritime organization in Kent. The successful candidate will oversee strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget, while actively engaging with stakeholders and utilizing best project management practices. A Bachelor's degree, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with methodologies like PRINCE2 or APM are essential. Maritime knowledge and the right to work in the UK are also required for this role.
Project Manager – (Maritime Operational Environment)
Permanent- Kent, UK - £ Excellent package
Reporting to the Head of Project Management, the company is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team and manage very exciting strategic projects.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for delivery of projects within scope, time and budget, as well as maintaining and monitoring a comprehensive project plan and outlining key milestones, deliverables and dependencies for each work package.
Other key responsibilities will include (but not exhaustive to);
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, have proven experience in project management and have experience with project management methodologies and tools, such as PRINCE2 or APM.
You will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced pressurised operational environment, have excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
You will also have a understanding of marine operations, construction, relocation/business change projects and navigation systems.
