Project Manager - FMCG | Location: Hereford | Salary: Up to £55,000 (depending on experience) | Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join a leading FMCG manufacturer based in Hereford. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering a wide range of capital and process improvement projects – from concept through to completion – across a fast-paced manufacturing site. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and deliver multiple CAPEX, engineering, and improvement projects
• Manage budgets, timelines, contractors, and stakeholder communications
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and commercial teams to align project goals
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
• Maintain detailed documentation and project reports throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage risk, scope changes, and resource allocation effectively
• Champion continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience delivering projects in an FMCG, manufacturing, or production environment
• Strong understanding of CAPEX, engineering processes, and factory operations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities
• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline (Prince2, APM, PMP, etc. beneficial)
