Since 2010, our team has grown rapidly, working across electricity, gas, water, telecoms, and EV charging sectors. With our sights firmly set on continued expansion, we’re looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to take ownership of complex new connections within a regional delivery team.

If you thrive on taking projects from inception to successful completion—on time, on budget, and above expectations—this role offers a fast-paced and rewarding environment within a company that truly values its people.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage multi-utility infrastructure projects, from planning through to final handover
  • Schedule all site and connection activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Order materials and equipment to project specifications and ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor project delivery against safety, quality, budget, and time KPIs
  • Act as lead on health, safety and quality for each project, including the preparation of RAMS
  • Manage cost controls, including margin and cash flow, variations and disputes
  • Liaise with DNOs, IDNOs, GTs, IGTs, and Water Companies to coordinate final connections
  • Attend client meetings and internal reviews to report project progress, status, and commercial performance
  • Ensure accurate project closure, reporting, and handover documentation

What You’ll Bring Essential:

  • Proven experience in utilities, construction or related sectors
  • Excellent project planning, resource coordination, and client management skills
  • Strong financial awareness and the ability to manage project costs, cash flow, and margins
  • Exceptional communication, organisational, and IT skills
  • Practical understanding of health and safety in a live project environment

Desirable:

  • SMSTS qualification
  • Street Works Supervisor certification
  • HNC or equivalent in an engineering or construction-related discipline

What We Offer

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Up to 3 additional holiday days for long service
  • Option to purchase 5 extra holiday days per year
  • 5% employer pension contribution
  • 2x Death in Service Cover
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Private health insurance (50% funded initially, 100% after 3 years)
  • The opportunity to lead projects that shape critical UK infrastructure
