Project Manager – Business Applications & Legacy Systems

Permanent Worthing (Hybrid)

60,000 per annum

We're seeking a delivery–focused Project Manager with a track record of navigating complex, legacy–heavy environments.

We're partnering with a long–standing organisation on the South Coast looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of business–critical applications, working across an intricate ecosystem of integrated legacy systems.

This is a permanent role offering the chance to work at the heart of transformation – where your ability to drive change in a challenging tech landscape will truly make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Leading end–to–end project delivery across business application and system implementations
• Working within structured SDLC frameworks, ensuring robust planning and governance
• Managing integration across legacy systems with varying levels of complexity
• Collaborating with internal teams, technical leads, and third–party suppliers
• Driving delivery through strong stakeholder engagement and hands–on project management

Requirements

• Proven experience managing SDLC–aligned delivery projects and experience scoping and delivery medium to large IT projects.
• A strong background in business application implementation (non–development).
• Confidence navigating legacy estates and delivering in environments with tech debt.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
• A pragmatic, delivery–first mindset and the ability to lead cross–functional teams.
• Retail or utilities industry experience would be advantageous.
