Qualifications

What Are We Looking For?

Following continued success, our Asset Management and Technical Services team is seeking a Project Manager to join our office in Ashford. You will be responsible for delivering projects or key elements within projects, managing performance end-to-end for our Southern Water Framework. This role involves supervising operational sites and delivery teams, including Project Engineers, Site Managers, Supervisors, and Sub-Contractors.

Key Duties of the Role Include:

  • Liaising with clients from enquiry to final acceptance, including site surveys.
  • Ensuring technical information is available for design and construction.
  • Interpreting and checking drawings, specifications, and schedules; directing work and preparing final documentation.
  • Identifying and resolving non-conformance issues during design and construction phases.
  • Managing system and product design to ensure alignment with specifications.
  • Producing risk assessments and method statements.
  • Managing health, safety, and environmental issues.

What Do You Need?

  • A degree, HND, HNC in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven project management experience with an engineering or supervisory background.
  • Good time management, multitasking, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to lead, motivate, and successfully complete projects.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Innovative thinking and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
