Where will you be working?

Our Rail team manages a wide range of specialist rail engineering works and projects delivering civils, track, power, electrical solutions, and station structures across all rail routes in the UK.

Want to come and be a part of it?

The Central Region team manages a portfolio of Civil engineering projects with clients ranging from Network Rail, TfL, Train Operating Companies, and the National Grid. A vacancy has arisen within the team to manage an existing project in the Norfolk area. This role will primarily work on that project for the next 12 months, mostly site-based, working with the site team.

What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction phase of works. As a natural leader, you will lead and coordinate the supply chain to meet programme requirements and directly manage site-based staff. You will report on project status to all levels of the business and the client team. Additionally, you will be responsible for producing and updating the project programme and undertake the role of Temporary Works Coordinator.

What You’ll Bring
  • Relevant experience managing Civil Engineering projects
  • NEC3 contract management, including change management
  • Skilled in producing method statements and risk assessments
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication at all organizational levels
  • Knowledge of the UK rail industry (desirable)
  • Experience with Principal Contractor organizations (Tier 1 desirable)
  • Experience as a Civils CRE and Temporary Works Coordinator (desirable)
