Make a difference every day - lead meaningful change at MHA

MHA is on an ambitious journey to transform the way we support older people and as our new Project Manager, you'll be right at the heart of that change.

Working from our Derby-based central office and embracing a hybrid model, you'll help shape and deliver projects that have real impact for our residents, members, and colleagues. From improving systems to enhancing the way we work, every project will contribute to MHA's mission: enabling people to live later life well.

About the role

You'll manage a variety of cross-organisational projects, applying MHA's Project & Change Delivery Framework and Praxis methodology. You'll collaborate with senior leaders, operational teams, and central support functions ensuring each project is aligned with our One MHA Strategy and delivers clear, measurable benefits.

Whether implementing new digital systems or redesigning services to better meet people's needs, your work will help us remain agile, innovative, and centred on the people we support.

What you'll bring

  • Strong project management experience, ideally in complex or multi-stakeholder settings.
  • A clear and compassionate communication style, able to engage and inspire others.
  • The ability to navigate risk, change, and ambiguity with confidence.
  • A values-led mindset, aligned with MHA's mission to nurture, respect, and inspire.

Experience using Praxis, MSP, Agile or similar approaches is beneficial but not essential, we'll support you to apply MHA's tailored frameworks effectively.

You'll be joining a purpose-driven organisation that puts people first. In addition to a competitive salary, you'll benefit from:

  • 33 days holiday (inc. bank holidays) with an option to buy more.
  • Life assurance and access to a healthcare scheme.
  • Employee discount scheme for retail and online purchases.
  • Pastoral and wellbeing support, including chaplaincy and counselling.
  • Long service awards and a cycle2work scheme.
  • A supportive, inclusive environment where your voice matters.
