Project Manager – Freelance

Start ASAP to finish off a £15m new pipeline installation based in Dartford

  • Duration: 3 – 4 months
  • Outside IR35
  • Day rate: £500 - £550 per day
  • Location: Dartford (4 days a week on site as a minimum)

Role Description:

The Resolute group is working in partnership with a main contractor who is building a new water pipeline in Dartford. Due to other projects starting they need a backfill to manage the project through to completion and handover to the client.

This role needs a proven Project Manager, someone used to being on site, overseeing the Delivery of a Utilities project and understands how to drive a programme through to a successful handover. Reporting into the Project Director, you will be managing the client relationship with both internal and external stakeholders.

Day-to-day duties will vary but could include:

  • Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Lead and manage project teams, including the Sub contractors on site.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders
  • Create progress reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation
  • Ensure project deliverables meet all quality specifications

There is an option to support with lodgings as required as you will need to be living in the local area for a minimum of 4 days a week.

Required Experience

  • HNC / HND / Degree in Civil Engineering or related subject.
  • Project Management experience in delivering an NEC infrastructure project, ideally pipeline installation.
  • Driving licence.
